Description: This 6H4 monoclonal antibody recognizes Staphylococcus aureus Cas9 endonuclease. Applications Reported: This 6H4 antibody has been reported for use in immunocytochemical staining and western blot. (Fluorochrome-conjugated 6H4 is recommended for use in flow cytometery.) Applications Tested: This 6H4 antibody has been tested by immunocytochemical staining of Staphylococcus aureus derived Cas9 transfected A549 cells. This may be used at less than or equal to 0.6 µg/mL. This 6H4 antibody has been tested by western blot of Staphylococcus aureus derived Cas9 transfected A549 cells. This may be used at less than or equal to 4 µg/mL detecting a band at 124 kDa. Cas9 is an RNA-guided DNA endonuclease enzyme associated with the CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats) adaptive immunity system in bacteria and genetic engineering.
