Description: The monoclonal mouse IgG1 K immunoglobulin is useful as an isotype control. Applications Reported: Mouse IgG1 kappa Isotype Control Alexa Fluor 647 has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis, immunocytochemistry (ICC) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Applications Tested: This Mouse IgG1 kappa Isotype Control can be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody. Excitation: 633-647 nm; Emission: 668 nm; Laser: Red Laser The isotype of a primary antibody and the application it is being used in can result in background staining. Primary antibody background noise can be caused by binding to Fc receptors on target cells; by non-specific interactions with cellular proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids; or by cell autofluorescence.
