Product Description

This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Pig, Bovine, Cat. Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire. TYRO3 (tyrosine-protein kinase receptor TYRO3) is a receptor tyrosine kinase that transduces signals from the extracellular matrix into the cytoplasm by binding to several ligands including TULP1 or GAS6. It regulates many physiological processes including cell survival, migration, and differentiation. Ligand binding at the cell surface induces dimerization and autophosphorylation of TYRO3 on its intracellular domain that provides docking sites for downstream signaling molecules. Following activation by a ligand, TYRO3 plays a role in various processes such as neuron protection from excitotoxic injury, platelet aggregation, and cytoskeleton reorganization.
