MA5-14711 targets Follicle Stimulating Hormone in ELISA, IP, and RIA applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The MA5-14711 immunogen is human Follicle Stimulating Hormone. MA5-14711 detects Follicle Stimulating Hormone which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 13 kDa. Product MA514711 is a smaller package size of MIF2706 (formerly sold as a Seradyn product). Follicle-stimulatine hormone (FSH) is a member of the glycoprotein hormone family. Members of this family consist of an identical alpha subunit and a hormone-specific beta subunit. Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encoding the same protein. FSH is secreted by gonadotropic cells in the pituitary gland and in conjunction with luteinizing hormone, induces egg and sperm production.
