Product Description
Recommended positive controls: 293T, A431, HeLa, HepG2, A375, mouse brain, rat brain, zebrafish brain, zebrafish heart. Predicted reactivity: Mouse (94%), Rat (93%), Zebrafish (90%), Xenopus laevis (91%), Pig (95%), Bovine (95%). Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. The protein encoded by this gene is a Krebs tricarboxylic acid cycle enzyme that catalyzes the synthesis of citrate from oxaloacetate and acetyl coenzyme A. The enzyme is found in nearly all cells capable of oxidative metabolism. This protein is nuclear encoded and transported into the mitochondrial matrix, where the mature form is found.
