In direct ELISAs, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) IL-2 R alpha, rhIL-2 R beta, rhIL-15 R alpha, recombinant mouse IL-2 R gamma, or recombinant canine IL-2 R alpha is observed. In Western blots, approximately 80% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-2 R beta, 50% cross-reactivity with rhIL-15 R alpha and recombinant mouse IL-2 R alpha, and no cross-reactivity with rhIL-2 R alpha is observed. Reconstitute in sterile PBS to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL. Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method. IL2RG is an important signaling component of many interleukin receptors, including those of interleukin -2, -4, -7 and -21, and is thus referred to as the common gamma chain. Mutations in this gene cause X-linked severe combined immunodeficiency (XSCID), as well as X-linked combined immunodeficiency (XCID), a less severe immunodeficiency disorder.
