Product Description
MIF2710 targets Follicle Stimulating Hormone in ELISA, IP, and RIA applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The MIF2710 immunogen is human Follicle Stimulating Hormone. MIF2710 detects Follicle Stimulating Hormone which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 13 kDa. MIF2710 was formerly sold as a Seradyn product. Follicle-stimulatine hormone (FSH) is a member of the glycoprotein hormone family. Members of this family consist of an identical alpha subunit and a hormone-specific beta subunit. Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encoding the same protein. FSH is secreted by gonadotropic cells in the pituitary gland and in conjunction with luteinizing hormone, induces egg and sperm production.
