Product Description
PA1-16916 is specific for the ~140 kDa Jumonji protein. Another band is seen >200 kDa and a faint band may be seen ~80 kDa. Jumonji (JARID2) is a nuclear protein that participates in the negative regulation of cell growth. It is required for neural tube formation and is essential for normal heart development and function. Also, it is a part of a group of proteins characterized by a novel structural motif, the JmjC domain, which is implicated in chromatin regulation through histone demethylation.
