PA1-18319 detects MBP from human samples. PA1-18319 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry procedures. The PA1-18319 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues Y(68) G S L P Q K S Q R S Q D E N P V V(86) of guinea pig MBP, conjugated to KLH. Reconstitute with 100 µL of distilled water. Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material. After reconstitution keep aliquots at -20 °C for a higher stability, and at 4 °C with an appropriate antibacterial agent. Glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability.
