PA1-18329 detects c-FOS from rat, rabbit, and hamster samples. PA1-18329 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry (paraffin and frozen) and Western blot procedures. The PA1-18329 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminal residues M(2) F S G F N A D Y E A S S S R C(17), conjugated to diphtheria toxoid. The sequence is 100% conserved in human, rat, mouse, hamster, and cat. Reconstitute with 500 µL of 1x PBS, pH 7.2-7.6, and centrifuge to remove insoluble material. Reconstitute in 500 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material. After reconstitution keep aliquots at -20 °C for a higher stability, and at 4 °C with an appropriate antibacterial agent. Glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability.
