Product Description
PA1-24970 detects GAP-43 from human, mouse, rat, feline, and monkey samples. GAP43 (Neuromodulin) is associated with nerve growth. GAP43 is expressed by developing and regenerating neurons, and to a lesser extent reactive glial cells. It is a major component of the motile "growth cones" that form the tips of elongating axons. GAP43 also plays a role in axonal and dendritic filopodia induction.
