This EPB41L3 antibody is useful for Western blot, where bands are seen at ~120 and 96 kDa. It detects both isoforms A and B in mouse brain lysates. It detects human isoform A strongly and isoform B more weakly.Suggested positive control: human and mouse brain lysate, HeLa whole cell lysate, Hela whole cell lysate, mouse brain lysate, human brain lysate. Critical growth regulator in the pathogenesis of meningiomas. Its human homolog acts as a tumor suppressor and binds 14-3-3 proteins.
