Product Description
This antibody does not react with xenopus samples. Suggested positive control: embryonic nervous tissue, brain, injured nerve. GAP43 (Neuromodulin) is associated with nerve growth. GAP43 is expressed by developing and regenerating neurons, and to a lesser extent reactive glial cells. It is a major component of the motile "growth cones" that form the tips of elongating axons. GAP43 also plays a role in axonal and dendritic filopodia induction.
