Product Description
Recommended positive controls: A549, DDDDK-tagged SMYD3-transfected 293T. Predicted reactivity: Human (99%), Mouse (93%), Rat (95%), Pig (95%), Rhesus Monkey (99%), Bovine (83%). Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. SMYD3 (histone-lysine N-methyltransferase) methylates Lys-4 of histone H3 and Lys-5 of histone H4. It induces di- and tri-methylation. SMYD3 plays an important role in transcriptional activation as a member of an RNA polymerase complex.
