Product Description
In direct ELISAs, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Serpin A1, rhSerpin A3, rhSerpin A5, rhSerpin C1, recombinant mouse Serpin D1, and rhSerpin F2 is observed. Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS. SERPINA4 inhibits human amidolytic and kininogenase activities of tissue kallikrein. The inhibition is achieved by formation of an equimolar, heat- and SDS-stable complex between the inhibitor and the enzyme, and generation of a small C-terminal fragment of the inhibitor due to cleavage at the reactive site by tissue kallikrein.
