PEP-021 is a 15 amino acid (amino acids 352-366) synthetic peptide whose sequence is found in rat and human PSD-93. The sequence of this peptide is (amino to carboxy terminus): N352-K-L-C-D-K-P-A-S-P-R-H-Y-S-P366 This peptide may be used for neutralization and control experiments with the polyclonal antibody that reacts with this product and PSD-93, catalog # PA1-043. Using a solution with equal weights per unit volume of peptide and corresponding antibody will yield a solution with a large molar excess of peptide that is able to competitively bind the antibody. PSD-93 is unique among family members in its expression in Purkinje neuron cell bodies and dendrites.
